The annual CCMH Poster Contest is now underway for 2016!
Every year CCMH is overwhelmed by the amount of thoughtful and creative entries from students for our Poster Contest which help to further our mission to educate, advocate and support. The goal of our Poster Contest is to further help diminish the stigma of mental illness, raise awareness, create understanding and bread unity within the community and we cannot express how excited we are to receive this year's entries!
The Themes for the 2016 CCMH Poster Contest are:
Grades K-5: "All Feelings Matter!"
Grades 6-12: "Celebrate and Embrace Differences: Understanding and Compassion Breeds Unity"
This poster contest is open to ALL students K-12 within the community. If you or your child does not attend Hudson City Schools and would like to take part in this year's poster contest, please contact CCMH via e-mail at email@example.com for further details!
Deadline for entries: February 19, 2016
Community members with an interest in children's mental health and wellness are invited to attend an introductory session about the organization's goals and future plans. CCMH is dedicated to increasing awareness of behavioral and emotional disorders in children and youth in the community. This will be followed by a Q&A session about children's mental health featuring CCMH Board Members and practicing child psychologists, Drs. Carol O'Connell and Tara Tozzi.
